I wanted to share my excitement with ya'll regarding Both rescues in just this past week but...however I will be writing more about one in particular. A neighbor/friend of mine came to my door the other day & wanted me to come check out this turtle his hound dogs fount, while in thier back yard roaming. So, of course I went across the street soon as he got done telling me about this, went up to check out the turtle & told him...Your dogs just fount a F-Eastern Box Turtle. Long story short, neighbor/friend of mine ended up handing the EBT over to me, she now resides at the rescue...

Now, about this one in particular that I wanted to share with ya'll. He is a Red-Tail Boa(Double Het for Snow), not too sure on age, round-bout size is 3.5ft' & is an absolute Beautiful/Gorgeouse fella. He came from a rescue that unfortunately, had to get rid of him(personal reasons) & handed him to another reptile rescue with whom I happen to know, lol. Well, they unfortunately don't have that extra time at this moment needed that is required, due to his health issues & not to mention they run a reptile rescue as well. Ok, now about Apache & his story. He requires 'special' care that includes> more one-on-one time, Love/attention, a pill every 3days(more then likely for the rest of his life-span), he has to have the right side of his mouth flushed out every 3days as well(due to infection) & on top of all that due to the mouth infection, his right eye will forever be gone/blind. I took Apache into my home NOT because of him being a RTB(Morph) but, because of his story. He's a beautiful all-round & a very loving snake(very docile for one to be going through what he has/is going through). Now this beauty, will NOT be for re-home due to I've fallen in love with him & to be honest just a tad selfesh(lol) because...I want to be the one who helps him live his life out :).

Thanks for reading about the Newest rescues> F-EBT(no-name yet) & Apache(RTB, Double Het for Snow)...

I'd like to start this first blog off by saying, Thank You to EVERYONE who...helped me fulfill My Dream of Owning my own Reptiles & More Rescue, INC.(Non-Profit Organization) Business. I've had my times where I'd second guess/question myself about if I could do this or not but, with the support of great/wonderful Family & Friends there by my side-telling me each day(yes You can), I now No longer second guess/question myself- I just do it & enjoy every minute of it. I can say even though I do have some people in my life who aren't interested in reptiles & such, they still stand by my side supporting me every step I take getting to where I am today & where I'll be, 5-10yrs. down the road with my rescue. Again, Thank You All for the Support & So-On regarding my rescue...
